Abseiling at de Noordkade is a unique challenge for anyone who enjoys a little thrill. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, you’ll descend from the 35-meter-high silos and experience de Noordkade from a unique perspective.
After a brief safety briefing, you’ll be provided with all the necessary equipment. The instructors will then guide you step by step through the abseiling process, so you can begin your descent with confidence. Depending on the group size, the activity lasts 90 to 180 minutes. You can use one or two rappelling lines. Within the allotted time, each participant generally gets one chance to rappel down from the iconic silos.
The abseiling activity is fully organized by our professional partner, Prof Training Center. Thanks to the experienced instructor and the use of professional equipment, safety is always our top priority.

Noordkade Uitjes is located on de Noordkade in Veghel and is easily accessible from Eindhoven (A50+N279), Den Bosch (N279), Helmond (N279), and Nijmegen (A50+N279).
The Noordkade location is a 2-minute drive away, right near the N279.

The standard duration of the abseiling activity is 1. 1 hours or 3 hours. For groups of up to 10 people, the program lasts 1. 1 hours. For groups of 10 to 40 people, both 1. 1-hour and 3-hour programs are available.

Abseiling is provided by an external vendor and can therefore only be booked upon request. After you submit your request, we’ll contact you regarding the estimated price, as well as your preferred date and time. Once we receive your approval, we’ll check availability with our external partner.

Yes. Abseiling takes place as scheduled in most weather conditions. Only in the event of extreme weather conditions or official warnings may the activity be modified, rescheduled, or canceled. We will, of course, contact you in a timely manner regarding this.
Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move easily and sturdy, closed-toe shoes. All necessary safety equipment, such as a climbing harness and helmet, will be provided by the instructors.
